This marks one full week of being a missionary!! I dunno where to really start. This week has been wild, in good and bad ways.
On Sunday, I was set apart as a full blown stinkin missionary guy. So uh that's pretty cool. Now it's the real deal. You know what that means, missionary standards! No more movies, tv, scrollin, games, YouTube, all that fun stuff. So far so good, I've really enjoyed not having distractions but I'm sure there will be times I miss that. But in the end it's about staying focused on the missionary purpose so it's all good.
On Monday I was slammed in the face with home MTC. I'm not gonna lie, it kinda sucked. Being on Zoom for 7 hours a day wasn't really my cup of tea. I felt like a mega spiritual bucket of stuff was dumped on me. And I'm still processing all the things. I gotta say by the end of the day, I was exhausted. Sitting in Zoom meetings is hard work. 😂 But it was still pretty cool cause I got to meet my super awesome district, fantastic teachers, and amazing companion.
But now that I've gotten into the routine of things and gotten used to the whole Zoom stuff, it's been a lot better. It's also been a huge help that I'm way more familiar with our whole district and my companion. I would have never guessed that I would get along with my companion this well. Elder Rowley is so awesome, he's from Idaho, and we just can't stop talking. It's great! Our comp study almost always goes overtime, and we sometimes get distracted but it's been so good.
I'm just now realizing that I didn't get any pictures. Dang I'm so lame, sorry about that guys. I'll be sure to get some awesome pictures next week! Anyways, I've learned so much. It's already been such an amazing experience! I'm really excited for the future! I know that this is where I need to be, and the best thing I can dedicate the next two years of my life to. I'm so glad to be doing the Lord's work.

I don't really know where to put this, so I'm just gonna throw my small rant about technology down here lol. - Man, I gotta say technology is amazing!! The fact that we can have over 700 people from all around the world in an online devotional participating real time is mind blowing! We truly live in the fullness of times, technology is a gift that's been given to us that must be used in the gathering of Israel. We should all strive to use it as a tool to spread the light of Christ around the world.
